Compensation & Organizational Effectiveness
From compensation and classification of positions to Unclassified Professionals and USS awards, Compensation and Organizational Effectiveness handles a variety of functions. In addition to reviewing position descriptions, the department processes USS employee performance reviews and ensures Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) compliance. Compensation and Organizational Effectiveness actively partners with departments/units to ensure effective position resourcing by performing organizational analyses. The unit guides the Total Rewards study at the University—a project meant to marry the art and science of compensation.
