Length of Session:  1 Hour

Audience:  All Employees

Session Description:  In this session participants will review common stressors in their lives and understand how behaviors and attitudes can play a role in how people cope with stress.  Participants will think of a stressful situation and consider what they can avoid, alter, adopt, and accept.  

This session requires a minimum of 10 participants and can be customized for your department.  To learn about options, please send an email to Learning and Development at learning-develop-hr@ksu.edu.     

Session Objectives:  As a result of this session, participants will:

  • Identify the sources of stress
  • Understand the types of stress
  • Recognize the symptoms of stress
  • Discuss stress management strategies
