Audience:  Supervisors

Session Description:  This training will cover the essentials of completing the position description form (per-1), as well as best practices for writing effective task statements. In this session, facilitators will discuss effective ways to describe job duties, and identify the differences between marginal and essential duties. 

Session Objectives:  As a result of this session, participants will:

  • Discuss the purpose of position descriptions
  • Identify tools to assist in writing effective position descriptions
  • Understand how to complete the form
