Big 12 and Friends Human Resources Conference - June 5-7, 2019

Welcome to Kansas State University, host of the 2019 Big 12 and Friends Human Resources Conference!

To assist you in navigating the K-State campus and surrounding Manhattan area, several resources are provided to you on this site. Conference Highlights

  • The University Lounge and West Stadium Center at Bill Snyder Family Stadium opened in the fall of 2013, providing a first-class facility for student athletes and more than 50,000 fans that cheer on the Wildcats. Join us as we kick off the start of our conference with a visit from Willie the Wildcat and the K-State Marching Band!
  • Dinner and Entertainment at the Sunset Zoo - Take an evening stroll through the famous Sunset Zoo, founded by former Kansas State University Head of Surgery and Medicine, Dr. EJ Frick. The zoo covers 26 acres and features reptiles, amphibians, mammals and birds. Music for the evening will feature the Wayne Goins Band. Dr. Goins is a Distinguished Professor and the Director of Jazz Studies at Kansas State University. He founded Little Apple Records, his independent jazz label that has released six albums featuring his guitar performances.

  • Hot Topics - A time to meet with peers and discuss what is currently happening within higher education Human Resources.

The conference will take place in the K-State Alumni Center at 1720 Anderson Avenue, Manhattan, KS 66506 and the Business Building at 1301 Lovers Ln, Manhattan, KS 66506.
