Brice joined the geology department in October 2015, and will teach our introductory geology, and Structural Geology courses. His main interests are in tectonics, understanding the deformation processes, and particularly the links with crustal strength, fluid transport and ore genesis. For this he uses a field-based approach coupled to laboratory analysis with a special focus on stable isotope geochemistry in order to understand the P-T conditions of deformation and the associated mechanical processes. His research is field-oriented, sometime in collaboration with exploration companies from East-Africa and Europe.
