K-State First Student Organizations

K-State First is host to two student organizations on campus. Comprised of student leaders from across campus, our Student Advisory Council (SAC) assists and supports the K-State First mission of creating an outstanding university experience for every first-year student at Kansas State University. From promotion and outreach, to research assistance and engagement, the council contributes to K-State First programming in a variety of ways.

K-State First is also the advisory body for the university's Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society. As a student honor society who's mission is to actively encourage and reward academic excellence in the first year of collegiate study, Phi Eta Sigma plays a vital role in fostering student leadership, service, and community engagement on campus.
