Property Numbers
University property numbers are to be assigned to all items departments have acquired with a unit cost of $5,000 or greater. The Propnum system is the means by which KSU departments assign University property numbers to the items meeting this threshold.
Departmental property numbers should be affixed to items with a unit cost less than $5,000. Do not assign university property numbers through the Propnum system to these items.
