eBill Frequently Asked Questions

Review frequently asked questions below regarding student account statements.

What is eBilling?

K-State utilizes eBills to generate student account statements for tuition, fees and other university charges electronically. Students will receive an email notification to their university email account that the eBill is available for viewing. Parents can view current and prior period eBills after Designated Access has been granted by their student.

How do I access my eBill?

Students may access their eBill through their KSIS account. Once logged on to KSIS, click on the Financial Accounts tile from the Student Homepage and then click on View Bills.

Will I receive a bill in the mail?

Kansas State University does not mail paper invoices. Students will receive an email notification to their university email account that a new eBill has been generated.

Can I get a paper bill instead of an eBill?

All students will receive an eBill. Authorized users may download and print eBills online from any computer with internet and printer access. There are many computer labs on campus as well as the Library and Union. Also, any authorized user may print their eBill at our kiosk in the Cashiers and Student Accounts office.

Can I create access for another person?

A student has the right and the ability to set up access for whomever they want. They may do this by accessing their eBills account through KSIS where they can set up a login and password (assigned by the student) for others to securely view the eBill. They may also set up an e-mail address for the authorized user to receive e-mail notification whenever a new eBill is generated.

Why isn't my eBill opening?

Check to make sure you don't have a pop-up blocker activated on your computer (browser) that is keeping you from opening a new window where your eBill would display. Temporarily disable the pop-up blocker to view your eBill.

Can I pay my tuition and fees online?

Yes. K-State has contracted with Informed Decisions Corporation to provide CASHNet SMARTPAY service for the acceptance of credit cards for tuition and fees. There is a service charge paid by the student to Informed Decisions for making payments using the CASHNet SMARTPAY service. The service is accessible via each student’s KSIS account. Informatino about other payment methods is available on the Cashiers and Student Accounts website.
