2002 Contributors

 

Tania Beltran is an undergraduate at Kansas State University. She is the winner of the Touchstone Kansas State Contest for Nonfiction.

 

Erin Billing is the co-winner of the 2002 Touchstone Kansas State Contest for Poetry. She is a first-year graduate student at Kansas State. She just returned from teaching at South Ocean International School in Taiyuan, China. She has been previously published in Touchstone.

 

Beau Boudreaux is currently completing his dissertation at the University of Wisconsin. His poems have appeared in Southern Poetry Review and The Tulane Review.

 

Katie Sallitt Fallon is the winner of the 2002 Touchstone Graduate Contest for Creative Non­Fiction. She is currently working on her M.F.A. at the University of West Virginia.

 

Kevin Gonzáles, winner of the 2002 Touchstone Graduate Contest for Poetry, is a student at Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

 

Darin Jensen has published poetry in Lucid Moon, Kumquat Meringue, Poetry Motel, and The Nebraska Voice. He is currently working on his Master’s Degree at KSU and is editor of Touchstone.

 

Tiffany Kentile is the co-winner of the 2002 Touchstone Kansas State Contest for Poetry. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Keuka College in New York, and has been published in Red Jacket.

 

Amanda Latrenta is an M.F.A. student at Bowling Green State University and has served as Assistant Editor for Mid-America Review. Her work has appeared in Barbaric Yawp, Parnassus Literary Journal, Poetalk, and Soul Fountain. A chapbook of her poetry will be released by BoneWorld Publishing during summer 2002.

 

Danielle K. Little is an attorney who is currently taking a hiatus from the practice of law to pursue an M.F.A. in Creative Nonfiction at Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, New York. Her work has appeared in Oxford Magazine, QBR: The Black Book Review, and Potpourri: A Magazine of the Literary Arts.

 

Dennis C. Martin, winner of the 2002 Touchstone Graduate Contest for Fiction, received his Master of Arts degree in Professional Writing at Kennesaw State University. Mr. Martin is also a Vietnam Veteran.

 

Christina Joy Palsangattil is working on her M.F.A. at Bowling Green State University.

 

Jonathan Tipton is an undergraduate at Kansas State University. He lives in Manhattan.

 

Samantha Warren is the winner of the 2002 Touchstone Kansas State Contest for Fiction. She is currently studying for her Bachelor’s Degree at K­-State.
