About Us
The long-term goal of CORES, a Collaborative for Outreach, Recruitment, and Engagement in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) is to increase enrollment and degree completion in STEM disciplines at Kansas State University by women, first generation college students, and groups historically underrepresented in these disciplines.
CORES Database
Tracks student participants in partner programs to facilitate recruitment of these students into other K-State programs, monitor their continued involvement with K-State, and provide easy access to data for K-State researchers to use in future grant proposals, analyses, and publications.
CORES also provides letters of support for K-State faculty members working on grant proposals involving education and outreach components.
CORES was developed through the Targeted Excellence program at Kansas State University and is maintained by One Health Kansas.
