Title: “Engineered nanoparticles as novel analgesic”

NIH Guidelines Sections III-D-4-a; III-F-1; III-F-8.

Meeting Comments: The project aims to develop engineered nanoparticles as a novel analgesic by targeting neurons and delivering genetic payloads. Their effectiveness will be evaluated both in vitro and in vivo. The project does not meet DURC/P3CO criteria, and appropriate biosafety procedures and mitigation plans are in place.

• Action taken: It was moved and seconded to approve the protocol as submitted.
  • The Committee voted unanimously to approve the motion.
