Who's Who in Kansas CKUS

“Fifty countries currently operate UAVs, but the United States is expected to
maintain its dominance and account for nearly 60 per cent of the end-user
market by 2020.” (IHS Jane's: Defense & Security Intelligence & Analysis,
February 2012) As the quote implies, there are many entities involved in the unmanned
systems market, spanning multiple focus and interest areas. By all
accounts the UAS market is a large and growing sector of the economy,
both here and abroad, with the United States projected to be the area of
largest global growth. Coupled with the recent FAA mandate to integrate
UAS into the National Airspace System by 2015, opportunities to collaborate
are possible at the local, regional, state, national and international levels. In identifying our Who’s Who listing, our focus is oriented at building an
innovative, interactive, flexible and dynamic collaborative environment
through our self-forming statewide, national and international association
of individuals, academic institutions, companies, organizations and
government entities. The Who’s Who list includes an expanding
organizational construct of current and potential Kansas industry partners
and stakeholders. As we build for tomorrow, this list will continue to
expand including a broader array of government, industry and academia
from within the state of Kansas, nationally and internationally.
