Support

The financial support for our graduate students have improved dramatically during the last couple of years. We are now able to offer very competitive stipends to our Ph.D. students, and you should also know that we are enjoying relatively low costs of living in Manhattan, which should make graduate studies at Kansas State particularly appealing.

We offer a competitive base stipend as well as many opportunities for additional support (these are awarded on academic merits), which can raise the basic stipend up to an additional $5,000. We also provide health insurance and cover tuition. For more information about financial support contact our graduate program admissions chair.
