Tendai has  traveled around the world, working in different labs with a variety of research interests. The common thread in all of her work has been the use of non-covalent interactions to build new molecular structures, and studying how the cooperative action of these interactions affect a variety of processes. She is continuing this work at K-State, with particular focus on supramolecular catalysis.
