Call for Proposals Reminder
The Center for Engagement and Community Development is pleased to announce “A Day of Learning” Food Security Engagement Symposium on April 4, 2016, as part of Provost April Mason’s call for a week on food security.
Faculty, staff, students, and community members are encouraged to consider presenting. Presentation models should address the objectives of the symposium, which are to provide the latest and best thinking about addressing food security, to highlight best practice models for addressing food security, to offer opportunities for robust discussion and networking, and to chart a path forward for solving food security issues in our community and around the world.
The symposium will be implementing a new format for presentations. Ignite, a format where slides automatically advance to assist presenters, is exactly five minutes, leaving audiences interested in learning more. Presentations may also take the form of a poster.
The proposal submission deadline is March 1. For more information about presentation guidelines, including how to submit a proposal, please visit http://www.k-state.edu/cecd/callforproposals.html
