The Insect Zoo is located in the K-State Gardens on Denison Avenue.

Take exit 313 off I-70 West and head north on Hwy 177 to Manhattan. Cross the bridge over the Kansas River. Turn left onto Ft. Riley Blvd at the traffic light, which turns into Tuttle Creek Blvd. At the third stop light, turn left onto Bluemont Ave. (This street changes names to Anderson Ave.). Turn right onto Denison Ave. (K-State Alumni Center is on the corner). Proceed through two traffic lights past Throckmorton Plant Sciences Center. Go ¼ mile past the K –State Gardens. Free parking is available in the lot just north of the Gardens. The Insect Zoo is in the limestone Building. Look for the large Leaf-Cutter Ants above the entrance to the Insect Zoo.
