Fisheries, Wildlife and Conservation Biology

Fisheries, Wildlife and Conservation Biology (FWCB) majors include students interested in careers focused on the research, conservation and management if natural resources. Students can chose from three options (Fisheries, Wildlife or Conservation Biology) based on their interests. Our classes expose students to fundamental concepts and modern approaches necessary to pursue a career in this profession. Many lecture classes have complementary laboratory classes that provide valuable experience conducting field experiments, field observations, sampling methods, and data analysis. In addition to our course offerings, there are a number of extracurricular activities that will help students develop their skills and provide valuable research experience.
