Explore, learn and lead: Kansas 4-H Discovery Days

Kansas 4-H Discovery Days, a long-standing partnership between Kansas State University and Kansas 4-H that has been in place for more than a century, will return to campus from June 3-5. This college and career readiness event brings high school-aged youth from across the state to K-State for hands-on learning, leadership development, and exploration of future academic and career paths.

K-State faculty and staff are invited to contribute to this tradition by submitting proposals for educational sessions. A variety of session lengths will be offered across two days, providing flexibility for presenters and a wide range of topics for participants. Submissions are requested by Feb. 5.

Youth rely on these sessions to spark curiosity, build confidence and introduce them to new concepts and opportunities. Presenters play a crucial role in shaping meaningful experiences that help students envision themselves as future Wildcats and leaders.

The event will also include a Career Opportunity Fair the morning of Friday, June 5, in the K-State Student Union. The fair provides an opportunity to share information about academic programs, services and campus resources with more than 200 high school participants.

For questions about submitting a session or participating in the fair, please contact the event organizers.
