Night at the Konza Prairie
Overview
Symposium presentations will conclude Friday, June 14 at 5:00 p.m at the K-State Alumni Center. To wrap up the symposium, enjoy a relaxing night at the Konza Prairie Biological Station, a 3,487 hectare native tallgrass prairie preserve jointly owned by The Nature Conservancy and Kansas State University. This event is included in your Registration Fee. An optional hike on the beautiful Butterfly Hill as well as musical entertainment, food and drinks are planned for the evening. Transportation is provided.

Transportation
Buses will be available for transportation from the K-State Alumni Center to Konza Prairie Biological Station. More information on transportation to Konza will be available closer to the symposium.
Butterfly Hill Hike
The Konza Prairie Biological Station has a beautiful trail on Butterfly Hill. The trail is approximately 1.5 miles and has many wildflowers that attract butterflies as well as a variety of insects. For those interested in participating in the hike on Butterfly Hill, please select the box next to Butterfly Hill Hike + Dinner & Social at Konza Prairie during registration. This will help the organizing committee for planning transportation to the event.

Meal at Konza Barn
A meal will be provided at the Konza barn for Symposium registrants. More information on the meal will be provided closer to the symposium.

Entertainment
Kaw Creek will provide entertainment for the evening. They are a duo playing new and traditional songs and tunes on fiddle, guitar, banjo; inspired by the land and people of the central plains. Bluegrass, folk, fiddle tunes, originals.
