The Local AGS Organizing Committee is striving to make your visit to Manhattan, KS smooth and enjoyable. There are many options for traveling to Manhattan. Below you will find information on the airports, driving directions to Manhattan and Transportation Services.
Manhattan Regional Airport
Manhattan Regional Airport (MHK) currently has flights daily to/from Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) and to/from Chicago O’Hare (ORD) airports. The MHK airport is approximately a 15 to 20 minute drive to/from the hotels and campus.
Rental cars are available but may not be necessary due to the close proximity of the symposium location and symposium lodging. Check the Symposium Lodging page for more information on what symposium hotels provide shuttle services. Taxi service is available from the airport by calling when you arrive or you may want to pre-arrange taxi service prior to your arrival. Transportation Services for the Manhattan area are below.
Kansas City International Airport
Kansas City International Airport (MCI) is an easy, 2 hour and 30 minute drive on Interstate 70 through the beautiful Flint Hills to Manhattan, Kansas. If you choose to fly into Kansas City, you will most likely want to rent a car. Alternatively, MHK Roadrunner and Arival Shuttle offers shuttle service to/from Manhattan and surrounding areas.

If planning to drive from your home, the Kansas City International Airport or the Manhattan Regional Airport, Kansas State University maintains driving directions to Manhattan.
