• Tops in sales: Marketing student wins national sales competition.

• Sales leader: K-State student is named Sales Athlete of the Year.

Dan Deines, professor of accounting, receives Special Recognition Award for American Institute of CPAs.

• The college's Kylie Hardman is a 2014 Cargill Global Scholar.

• Sold! For the third consecutive year, the National Strategic Selling Institute at K-State's College of Business Administration named one of the top sales programs in the country.

• Success supplied: Two students in the College of Business Administration are receiving scholarships from the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals K.C.-Heartland Roundtable.

Amy Hageman, assistant professor of accounting, has new job: chair-elect of the Public Interest Section of the American Accounting Association.

• For the second straight year, a team from the College of Business Administration's student chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management is the first-place winner in the Southwest Regional Conference Case Competition in Phoenix, Arizona.

• It's continued accreditation for the College of Business Administration's bachelor's degree and master's degree programs from the board of directors of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.

• Diane Swanson, professor of management and the von Waaden professor of business administration, has a new book, "Embedding CSR into Corporate Culture: Challenging the Executive Mind." The publisher is Palgrave Macmillan in the United Kingdom.
