About K-State

World War I Photograph Memorial

The World War I Photograph Memorial bears the inscription, "1917 – Lest We Forget – 1918." The memorial is located in the first-floor hallway of Gen. Richard B. Myers Hall. The memorial includes portraits of the 45 students who died in World War I.

WWI Memorial

The memorial wall was dedicated in 1929 and was originally intended to be a part of Memorial Stadium, but was instead placed in Anderson Hall. In 1985, it was moved to Gen. Richard B. Myers Hall, where it is enjoyed by visitors today.
