spacerGames Home: Review List: Number of players in games
Review categoriesThe number range is the minimum and maximum number of players in a game. Game play can change dramatically depending on the number playing. A game that plays great with four may not play well with two even when the lower number is possible. Game designers often insert slight changes in rules to make a game play better with different numbers of players. The greater the range in age, the less likely the game will play well with two. We recommend no more than four players when playing with children. Down time between turns can be very distracting for children.
