#31 Contract
Advanced, ages 4-18
Allow children to do what they want to do only after finishing what they have to do. The desirable activity becomes an incentive for completing a more difficult, unpleasant task. This is called Grandmother's Rule.

Examples:
Parent of Terry (10 years): You can watch television after you do your homework.
Parent of Cindy (11 years): You can go out with your friends after you clean up your room.
