My approach
I think I am becoming somewhat old fashioned in my outlook. Keep in mind that as a former preschool teacher, I tend to look at parenting issues through the eyes of children. Children do not care about what is pc at the moment. They actively shape what they see and hear to create a worldview of their own, not that of their parents.
What’s wonderful for me about the world of children is its innocence and simplicity. Children see things as black or white. They do not see or understand grey. Heroes triumph while villains are defeated. Men and women love and marry each other. People should be fair, not steal or hurt each other. Children should live with fathers and mothers.
