Is a journal really necessary?
Most readers are not probably keeping a journal. There are lots of reasons why they might not do this.

Some may be uncomfortable with introspection. Others may object to doing something that might take more time than they are willing to commit. Some may be uncomfortable with the subject of anger management itself.

I'm probably one of those who would be tempted to just read along without keeping a journal. If I did, I would be missing out on a more complete learning experience.

Application of these ideas to your own life is essential. Writing down your observations and insights will help you remember. Reexamining your comments later may enable you to make connections between ideas in the course.

Regardless of whether you are keeping a journal or not, I am happy that you found this information and are taking the time to read and think about issues related to anger management.
