In addition to the above, anger can be contagious. Anger can spread. A child who is around a parent who is often angry , for example, may become easily aroused to anger as well. This association is stronger if the parent mistreats the child in some way. One angry person can set an entire office on edge, increasing the emotional "heat" until others begin feeling irritable and angry as well. |
