Honoring in anger management
These skills are important in the aftermath of an anger episode. Honoring means showing that you value the relationship if another person was involved. Following-up means trying to learn something from the anger episode. Eight skills can be part of your anger management toolbox:

This is a skill Reach out for informal support
This is a skill Lower my anger action point
This is a skill Reconcile after anger
This is a skill Reassure my children about my strong emotions
This is a skill Learn new words for talking about anger
This is a skill Reduce frustrations
This is a skill Seek professional counseling
