FireWorks goals
I have three goals with FireWorks:

1) to provide you with a solid base of knowledge about anger and its positive and negative implications,
2. to provide experiences that enable you to gain insight into how your life experiences influence how anger originates, progresses, and is resolved, and
3) to provide you with a framework for anger management that will help you begin learning important skills for handling this difficult emotion with both children and adults.

The focus is not exclusively on dealing with the anger of other people. The emphasis is on managing our own anger.

There are limits to what we can hope to accomplish with an on-line course on anger management that is open to the public. A few problems associated with anger concern me. If you have problems with violence and/or are taking any mood-altering drugs or medications, you need professional, personal help. You and I are having a conversation about anger and its management. This course is not a substitute for therapy.
