Looking back and ahead
At this point in the course, we have briefly examined the importance of core emotions. I hope you understand that strong emotions have a purpose. Every honest, core emotion teaches us and urges us onward. We don’t have to be afraid of sadness, fear, and anger. These emotions make us human and give our lives vitality. What we have examined so far is the groundwork of understanding grief and helping. Now it’s time to examine the skills we can learn. We begin at the Threshold where we meet Friends.
