Dianna Schalles will present Beyond Fat Talk: Women & Body Image
Body image in our culture typically has been viewed as a concern for young adults or the twenty-something crowd. However, body image despair impacts women at every stage of the life cycle, young and old.
Dianna Schalles, registered dietitian at K-State's Lafene Health Center, will discuss ways that we as women can support ourselves and others in counteracting the cultural ideal. She will also introduce alternatives to fad dieting to achieve improved health and fitness.
