Classification of Aegilops and Amblyopyrum according to van Slageren 1994.

The van Slageren [reference] classification of Aegilops differs from Hammer's 1980 classification in the treatment and ranking of several species, by the recognition of only a few subspecific forms, all at the variety level, and by the move of the species 'mutica' into the genus Ambylopyrum.
