Monday, Feb. 8, 2010

Campus is open. Classes are being held.

Individual faculty, staff and students should use their best judgment to ensure their safety. Employees with concerns should check with their supervisors; intersession students with concerns should check with their instructors. Check this Web site periodically for updates.

In cases of inclement weather, Vice President Bruce Shubert encourages supervisors to be flexible with employees, especially those who must travel longer distances to and from work.

If campus is closed, you can learn about it several ways

A delayed start or class cancellation will be announced on the K-State Web site and through local broadcast media. When school is in session, students, faculty and staff who signed up for emergency text messaging notification will receive a message about closures and delays on their cellular phones.
