Who Benefited?

How to Donate Directly Through KSU Foundation

The K-State Women's Center, along with the student group Wildcats Against Rape, is hosting the Run Against Rape at Old Ahearn Stadium on Saturday, October 11, 2008. We hope this will be an annual event.  The U.S. Dept. of Justice estimates that a campus our size has over 400 rapes a year, and we believe that estimate to be plausible. There have been many brutal rapes of men, women, and children in Manhattan in the past year. On the global level, there have been (truly) unspeakable crimes against women and children in the Congo in the past several years, and we selected the Panzi Hospital there as our major beneficiary. We are also grateful for the SANE SART program nurses here at Mercy, who are the medical frontline for crime victims here in the Flint Hills area.

Please join us on Saturday afternoon/evening.
