Short Biography:

I was born in Maryland, father was in the military and we traveled all over the world. I currently live in Junction City Kansas for the last 35 1/2 years. My husband was stationed at Fort Riley in the military I was offered a basketball scholarship but changed my mind after arriving in Kansas. My husband and I have been married over 35 1/2 years. We have two sons and four grandsons which we love dearly.

Brief Work History:

I started my employment with Kansas State University July of 1987. I have worked in different departments on campus. I was a senator for the university staff support from 2003 to 2006 many good changes occurred. I totally enjoyed helping and caring for people. I am two time breast cancer survivor giving the praise unto Jesus.

Personal Interests:

I have spent over eight years as an event coordinator, developing seminars and events on breast cancer awareness. I love and enjoyed helping others. I have other passion which I enjoy, church, family, friends, sewing, reading, teaching a designer class on beading. I am pretty close to receiving my social degree. I have returned back to serve on the university staff support again, looking forward to serving.
