Expertise

Dr. Rogers is an Extension Agricultural Engineer with K-State Research and Extension. His expertise is in technology and management related to irrigated agriculture including ET-based irrigation scheduling, center pivot sprinkler irrigation efficiency and uniformity, and Subsurface Drip Irrigation (SDI). Dr Rogers is also active in the Ogallala Initiative project which focuses on water issues in the Ogallala aquifer. He provides assistance to Kansas water quality programs, including those about livestock wastewater utilization in center pivot and SDI systems and wellhead protection for private rural water supply wells.
