In the 1980's the Kansas City born guitarist began playing in groups lead by some of the city's world renowned recording artists beginning with the late trumpeter Carmel Jones who recorded with Horace Silver. Matthews also played and recorded with violinist Claude'Fiddler'Williams who was Count Basie's first guitarist before Freddie Green. In 1989 Matthews had the opportunity to play a concert with pianist/vocalist Jay McShann's big band and also with his quintet in 2003.

Cami Stinson, songwriter/recording artist, is quickly drawing attention around the nation for her fresh twist on jazz and blues inspired music. Her band, the Riot, packs out jazz venues as well as clubs and concert halls, and is creating a new pulse of enthusiasm for jazz and blues among audiences of all ages.


Les Lankhorst

Les is originally from Salina, Kansas and is a graduate of Kansas State University. He performs his one-man show all over the world --on cruise ships, at resorts, and concert venues. Featuring everything from Queen to Swing to Les Miserables, his show routinely gets rousing standing ovations wherever he goes. Les is heavily influenced by some of the world’s legendary swing/jazz vocalists including Mel Torme’, Nat King Cole, Harry Connick Jr., and of course, Frank Sinatra.
