The Union Program Council (UPC) is currently in search of individuals interested in becoming a part of next year's Exec board. We are excited about your interest in joining the UPC board. As K-State's premier event planning organization, UPC is responsible for organizing events in the K-State Student Union and around campus. Based out of the third floor of the Union and funded by student privilege fees, UPC provides entertainment that keeps the college student's budget in mind.

Professional behavior and business casual dress are expected for the interview. The decision-making process for the selecting of executive board members will consist of strength of application, strength of interview, potential leadership, and current UPC involvement.

Membership criteria for leadership positions with UPC are listed below. Please verify that you satisfy all requirements prior to beginning the application process.

REQUIREMENTS FOR UPC EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEMBERS
Attend all UPC Executive Committee meetings
Chair bi-weekly committee meetings
Attend UPC Transition Retreat
Maintain a 2.25 cumulative grade point average
Maintain 5 office hours per week in the UPC office
Be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours at Kansas State University
Complete any other duties relevant to the specific committee as designated by the UPC President or Advisors. Failure to meet any of these requirements shall give the UPC President adequate grounds for your dismissal
Plan any and all events for the first 4-6 weeks of the fall semester by April 30, 2014.
