The purpose of the K-State Student Union Ambassador is to provide outstanding student leaders with the opportunity to become a liaison with prospective students, on-campus organizations, and the Manhattan/K-State community as a whole to promote the K-State Student Union and the Union Program Council.
ELIGIBILITY FOR K-STATE STUDENT UNION AMBASSADORS:
UPON SELECTION, AMBASSADORS WILL
There are six (6) K-State Student Union Ambassadors.
The responsibility of each Ambassador is listed below.
Fraternity Ambassador: Responsible for promoting and serving as a liaison between both the K-State Student Union and the Union Program Council to Fraternities within the K-State Greek community.
Sorority Ambassador: Responsible for promoting and serving as a liaison between both the K-State Student Union and the Union Program Council to Sororities within the K-State Greek community.
Residence Hall Ambassador: Responsible for promoting and serving as a liaison between both the K-State Student Union and the Union Program Council to residence halls within K-State Housing and Dining.
Jardine and Leadership House Ambassador: Responsible for promoting and serving as a liaison between both the K-State Student Union and the Union Program Council to Jardine Complex and the scholarship houses at K-State University.
Campus Community Ambassador: Responsible for promoting and serving as a liaison between both the K-State Student Union and the Union Program Council to various campus groups, (i.e. Veteran students, International students, Non-Traditional students, etc.) within the campus community.
Community Ambassador: Responsible for promoting and serving as a liaison between both the K-State Student Union and the Union Program Council to the Manhattan, Fort Riley, and surrounding communities.

Conduct a minimum of three (3) office hours per week in the Union Program Council office or the Union Marketing office. |

Conduct two (2) hours of Ambassador outreach in respective communities per week. |

Attend weekly meetings with Advisor(s) or other Ambassadors. |

Assist with major campus recruitment events. (i.e., Union Expo and Activities Carnival, transfer days, Orientation and Enrollment, etc.) |

Attend a mandatory training retreat. |
| • |
Be actively involved within their respective area of focus. |
| • |
Be enrolled in at least six (6) credit hours at Kansas State University. |
| • |
Maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least a 2.25. |
