Updating your password
Why do I need to know this?
You will need to do this every time you change your K-State eID password. Your eID password is what allows you to log into your website, so when it changes; you'll also need to update the password in Contribute.
Contribute saves your password so you don't have to log in everytime. You won't have to make any changes until the next time you update your eID password.
Find your connections
With Contribute open go to the top menu and click Edit(PC) or Contribute(Mac). Then click My Connections. Make sure your website is highlighted and click Edit.
Just click Next(PC) or Continue(Mac) on this screen
In this section, you will enter your new password. Just highlight and delete the old one. Then type in your new one.
Click Next(PC) or Continue(Mac)
Next you will need to re-enter the path to your folder on the K-State server. Most likely this will be "/usr/local/data/www/yourfoldername", but it may not be for your specific site. Contact your administrator to find out the information.
Click Next(PC) or Continue(Mac)
Just click Next(PC) or Continue(Mac) if you get this screen
Click Next(PC) or Continue(Mac)
Click Done(PC) or Finish(Mac)
