Create a photo gallery

Create a new web page

This new page will house your photo gallery.

1. Launch Adobe (or Macromedia) Contribute, and connect to your website.

2. At the top, click New.

3. Under Templates, select gallery. If you do not have a gallery template page, contact University Publications, and we will create one for you.

4. For the Page title, type the gallery name, and then click OK.

5. Click Publish. The Publish New Page box will appear.

6. For Filename, type index.html, and then click Choose Folder.

7. Locate the gallery folder you uploaded to your website, and then click Select "folder name."

Save your page

8. Click Publish.

Stop and read!

If prompted, Do you want to replace the existing file?, you are either in the wrong folder or did not delete the old index.html file from the folder. Do NOT replace the existing file. If you cannot determine the error, click Save for Later, and call University Publications at 532-6419.
