Upload photos from your camera to your computer

1. Create a new folder on your desktop.

2. Save your uploaded photos into this folder.

Import photos into Picasa

1. In Picasa, go to File > Import from.

2. Click on the Select Device drop-down menu, and choose Folder.

3. Locate and open the folder containing your photos, and then click on the Import All button.

Create an album

Your photos should now appear in Picasa in the Import Tray.

1. Click the Import All button at the bottom left. The Finish Importing box will pop up.

2. For the folder (album) name, we recommend using the event name (i.e.,"K-State Celebrates Overland Park"). Make sure you enter the date and a short description of the event.

3. Click Finish.

Add captions to your photos

1. Double-click on the photo you want to add a caption to. You will see a larger picture with editing tools on the left side.

2. To add a caption, click on Make a caption! under the photo.

3. Click Back to Library in the upper left corner, and repeat for other photos.
