build a new page
Publish your page
After finishing creating or editing a page, you will either Publish (4) it or Send for Review (5), depending on your privileges. The buttons are located in the top left of the window.
A dialog box will open.
The Page title box contains the title of the page. (You have already titled the page once when you chose your template. You only need to change this if you have downloaded a page you have already made in Contribute, changed it, and are publishing it as a new page). Whatever is keyed into this box will be the header displayed by a search engine, such as Google, when your page is one of the possible hit choices. See Metadata for related information.
Use the Filename box to name the file, such as index.htm. The end of the web address, displayed directly under the Filename box, will change depending on how you name your file.
The Web address is what will be typed into a browser to access your page. Currently, the page being published above is the index page for a style guide folder. The "/styleguide" represents a folder. To change this to a different folder click the Choose Folder button.
By clicking in the top left of this dialog box, you can browse for another folder in the website, or hit the Create a New Folder button to make a new folder to publish the page into. This button is circled below.
