SPARK Week 2017: October 2-6

SPARK (Students Promoting the Advancement of Research at K-State) Week is a week of campus-wide collaboration celebrating and promoting the opportunities for undergraduate research & creative inquiry at K-State. Mark your calendars for October 2-6, and check back frequently for schedule updates!

All Week

Curious ‘Cats Twitter Photo Challenge: What does undergraduate research look like at K-State? Post a picture to Twitter of you and your research. Don’t forget to tag @ksuOURCI! The three photos with the most “likes” by the end of the week will receive a Curious ‘Cats prize bucket!

Monday, October 2

Conversation for Curious 'Cats: How and Why to get involved in Research in Science, the Arts, Humanities and more - 3:30-4:40 p.m., Wildcat Chamber (formerly Little Theatre)

Join us and Dr. Don Saucier, University Distinguished Teaching Scholar, to have coffee and conversation about how to increase your opportunities through research.

Spark Tank – 1:00-3:00 p.m., Student Union Big 12 Room

Present your research idea to a panel of judges and receive feedback to strengthen your OURCI Research/Travel Grant Application. Two OURCI Grants will be awarded! Sign-up online by September 22 to participate.
