Students in the UFM Teen Mentoring Program are given the opportunity to learn important life lessons, be involved in a wide variety of activities, make new friends, and have fun!
Students and mentors meet once a week. High school students and mentors meet on Tuesdays from 3:00-5:00. Middle school students and mentors meet on Wednesdays from 3:00-5:00. Free transportation is provided from school to UFM. Parents are asked to pick up their teen following group. Rides home may be arranged on request.
Large and small group activities, recreation activities, and snacks are provided. Students may begin to participate at any time during the semester.
This program is offered in the spring, summer, and fall. There is no charge for this program. The program is funded by the City of Manhattan Special Alcohol Fund and the Manhattan YES! Fund.
