Principle 2   FLEXIBILITY IN USE

The design supports a wide range of individual preferences and abilities.

These items can be used correctly and successfully in multiple ways. They are accessible, usable by both left-and right-handed people, and can adapt to varied users' speeds.

For example:

    Large multi-use bathroom

  • LARGE, MULTI-USE BATHROOM: Waterproof floor with drain, plus faucet beside toilet allow for a roll-in shower or wet room. The hand-held shower controls can be reached from the toilet, allowing the user to bathe while seated. The bathtub has a built-in ledge at one end to use as a shower seat or for transferring. A hydraulic seat raises the user in and out of the tub.
