Movies on the Grass: Featuring 'Chimpanzee' Sept. 29 at Sunset Zoo

By Sarah Beebe

Come join us for a free outdoor movie at 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29, at Sunset Zoo, 2333 Oak St. Admission to the zoo will be free.

This week's movie "Chimpanzee" journeys deep into the African rainforest to meet Oscar, an adorable young chimp with an entertaining approach to life. It is a remarkable story of individual triumph and family bonds. The world is a playground for little Oscar and his fellow young chimps who love creating mayhem.

Bring yourself, a lawn chair or blanket and maybe even a friend.

For each of our film showings, we try to collect resources and discussions guides that students and faculty may find useful before and after the film. These materials take many different forms and come from varied sources. Resources can be found online.
