College of Agriculture hosting four international agriculture seminars Sept. 9-11

The College of Agriculture is hosting four international agriculture seminars Monday through Wednesday. All seminars are open to public. 

Monday, Sept. 9:

Yilma Kebede, from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, will present "Supporting Agricultural Productivity and Adoption for Improved Food Security" at 9 a.m. in 2002 Throckmorton Hall.

Timothy Dalton, from the Sorghum and Millet Innovation Lab, will present "USAID Feed the Future Food Security Innovation Lab: Collaborative Research on Sorghum and Millet" at noon in 137 Waters Hall.

Tuesday, Sept. 10:

Michael Robinson, from the Plant Biosecurity Cooperative Research Centre in Australia, will present "Plant Biosecurity Research in Australia, Toward a Co-operative National Model" at noon in 4031 Throckmorton Hall.

Wednesday, Sept. 11:

Ruben Echeverria, director general at the International Center for Tropical Agriculture, or CIAT, in Colombia, will present "KSU & CIAT: New Research Partnerships for Global Food Security" as the inaugural Chuck and Sue Rice International Agronomy Lecture at 4 p.m. in 1018 Throckmorton Hall.
