Members of Kansas State University and the Manhattan community are encouraged to nominate individuals and organizations who have exhibited extraordinary commitment to service based on the following four award categories:

  • outstanding student volunteer
  • outstanding student organization
  • outstanding youth volunteer
  • outstanding community group

More details on the awards and the nomination form can be found on the Celebrating People and Action website. Nominations must be submitted electronically to HandsOn Kansas State by 5 p.m. Monday, April 1.

Successful nominees will be notified by Friday, April 6, and recognized at Celebrating Service and Leadership, hosted by the School of Leadership Studies, on Sunday, April 21. As part of their recognition, each winner receives a $250 check to donate to the Manhattan community nonprofit organization of their choice.
