Submitted by Jim Hohenbary

Looking for funding for graduate school? If you plan to pursue, or have just begun, a graduate degree in a field related to science, technology, engineering or mathematics, then come learn more about the National Science Foundation graduate research fellowship program.

Jim Hohenbary, assistant dean for nationally competitive scholarships, will have an informational meeting regarding the process of applying for this award at 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 20 and 21 in Room 226 at the K-State Student Union. Seniors and graduate students in their first or second year are eligible to apply. Students interested applying in a future year are also invited to attend.

The fellowship program will make around 2,000 awards nationally for 2013-2014 academic year, each valued at more than $120,000.
